漁に出る船を、家族や親戚、友人、港の人たち、みんなで見送ります。
磨さんはいつも船の上で見送られる側でしたが、八十歳を越えた今、どんな思いで見ているのでしょう。

When leaving the port, the fishing boats are sent off by everyone including family, relatives, friends and people at the port.
Migaku-san was always the one who was sent off on the boat, but now that he is over 80 years old,
how does he feel about it?

船と繋がった色とりどりの紙テープ。

紙テープの中心に両側から人差し指を入れて持ったり、子供たちは摩擦でケガをしないように、棒やペンに紙テープを２～３個通して持ったりします。

船はゆっくりと動き出し、紙テープはものすごい勢いでクルクルと回りだして、
磨さんたちが、船の上からこちらに向かって手を振ります。


『お父さ～～～ん!!』『いってらっしゃ～い!!』
『気をつけてね～～!!』
『お魚いっぱいとってきてね～!!!』


大きく汽笛が鳴ると、船は大漁旗と紙テープをなびかせ、煌びやかに出航する姿を見せてくれます。


手元の紙テープは最後まで回り続け、そして芯だけになると、
船はどんどん港から遠く離れ、磨さんたちの姿も見えなくなり、

最後に小さく見える船に向かって『お父さ～～～ん!!!』と大きく手を振ると、
船の汽笛が分かったかのように『ボォ～～～～～～～～～～～』と鳴り、

まるで『いってくるね～』と応えてくれたみたいで、嬉しくなった想い出があります。

When the steam whistle blows loudly, the boat flutters with a big catch flag and paper tape,
and you can see how it departs gorgeously.

The paper tape at hand continues to rotate until the end, and when it becomes only the core,
the ship is getting farther and farther from the port, and Migaku-san and the others are no longer visible.

At the end, I waved at the ship, which looked small, and said, “Daaaady!”
As if understood the whistle of the ship, it sounded "Booooooooo",
I have fond memories of it as if answered, “Seeeee you later～”.
