[taifuu-ikka hana mo kaori mo ichiya kie kinmokusei no setake nobi yuku]
Sunny day after a storm
flowers and sweet scents
have gone overnight
tree of fragrant olive
growing taller
A typhoon wipes out the small flowers and sweet scents
that were made to bloom overnight.
The life of a flower is very short and ephemeral, but as the typhoon passes,
the fragrant olive also grows.
Sometimes Migaku-san likens the growth of flowers to people's life.
Even if what seemed to be a glittering figure disappears overnight,
and it seems that there is nothing left, as long as we keep our feet on the ground
and put down our roots firmly, we might grow even stronger.
The seasons change, and when you notice the signs of autumn,
the small orange blossoms and sweet scent of fragrant olive will
attract passersby.
